A country convenience...

As far back as I can remember we have dried clothes on the line in the summer. We aren't die-hard clothes liners like some of the local Mennonite ladies around town. They hang their clothes out year round. Talk about going green!

My husband likes "crunchy" towels. Aka...towels hung on the line with little or no liquid fabric softener. He says they absorb better. I don't hang jeans, socks or heaven forbid...underwear, on the line. Don't like stiff jeans or socks and nobody should have to see our privates in public...this could be a hint to lots of younguns out there showing off their privates on a daily basis :)

Anyway...thought I would share one of my summertime favorites...what's yours?

What a great photo Cara!! There's nothing better than when you hang your sheets out in the fresh air ... mmmm, I can smell the freshness & feel the crispness now!! Unfortunately they frown upon such things here in the "sub-division" but I sneak a few out on the deck now & then anyways. Think anyone would notice if I strung a line from tree to tree up in the picnic area, LOL??? Enjoy the sunshine!!!

Well, I love the picture. It just screams summer! But hanging clothes on a line is not my thing. I hate crunchy towels! Or any other crunchy apparel. UGH! Not to even mention how much more work it is. I love my clothes dryer and fabric softener. What can I say.

I like clothes hung out and did it in the summers when I was a stay at home mom. Now I work full time and it is so much more quick and convenient to throw them in the dryer.

Favorite summer things.... campfires, watching the stars, sitting on my porch, sunshine on my face, wearing flip flops and shorts!
